Signal Mountain, Tennessee


We never tire of the views at Signal Point. Whether you are packing a family picnic to eat at the overlook gazebo or you are looking for a challenging day of hiking, Signal Point is a great destination for all. Just a quick 20 minute drive from downtown Chattanooga, this trail is easily accessible and takes you through the charming Signal Mountain neighborhood of Old Towne.

Lookout Mountain, Tennessee


Another one of our favorites, Sunset Rock atop Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. A quick 15 minute drive from downtown Chattanooga, Sunset Rock is well worth visiting. Park at the historical Craven’s House and take a scenic hike along the mountainside until you reach the Sunset Rock overlook. At 1.5 miles from Craven’s House to Sunset Rock, this trail is ideal for a quick trip outdoors.
